Vanilla rolls

Ingredients:

  • 200 g vanilla flavor
  • 250 g of sharp flour
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 24 g of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g of ground hazelnuts or almonds
  • 1 egg
  • A pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar

 

 

Preparation:

Add flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, ground hazelnuts or almonds, salt and egg to the bowl.

Cut the vanilla flavored star into thin slices and add to the bowl with the other ingredients.

Mix all the ingredients well and combine with your hands. Transfer the dough to a flat surface on which you previously sprinkled a little flour and knead well until you form a ball.

Cut the dough into smaller pieces and then roll them into 1 cm thick rolls.

Place the rolls on baking paper and bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes at 180 °C until they take on a light color.

Take them out of the oven, let them cool and then sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
