Breaded apples

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Star oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

Preparation:

Wash and peel the apples, cut them into thick slices and remove the central part with the seeds. Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the milk. Place the breadcrumbs in the third bowl. Dip each apple slice first in the flour mixture, then in the egg and milk mixture, and finally cover the slices with breadcrumbs. Heat Zvijezda oil for frying in a deep pan. When the oil is hot enough, carefully place the breaded apple slices in the pan. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove the breaded apples from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
